From the Studio: 13th February 2017

I think New Year Resolutions are doomed for one particular reason, at least in the northern hemisphere – illness.

Despite my best intentions to keep updating you all on life at Oliopix, a big bug decided to descend on our family in the last couple of weeks, and has made progress feel like sticky treacle (only nowhere near as much fun).

So here we are in mid-February, on Valentine’s Day eve, and winter is still holding on as best it can.

What I’m noticing is a surge in popularity of the Photoshop collage sheet templates, which suggests many of you are being super creative and just need the boring bit out of the way – that of creating the templates in the first place.

So I’m thinking of creating some more templates with extra shapes and alphabets. If there are any particular templates you’d really like, let me know and I’ll add it to the list.

I’m really hoping to push out some more creative work this week. Next week it’s half-term in Wales and so I’m not convinced productivity will be particularly high. Maybe by the end of next week we’ll have a few more visible signs of spring. Our daffodils are just starting to get yellow tips so hopefully it won’t be long before their welcome bursts of colour signal warmer, longer days, blossom and spring flowers.

As always, I love to hear from you with your ideas, comments, questions, and creations. Drop me a line or catch up on Facebook.
